MASUAS is an RAF Volunteer Reserve unit for students studying at Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan or Salford University. This website contains information about the history of the Squadron, some of the activities we get up to and details about joining the Squadron.

Latest News: MASUAS win the Reid Trophy - Again!

On Wednesday 30th August MASUAS retained the Reid Trophy for the second consecutive year triumphing in all four categories!

The Reid is an annual competition between the four Northern England UASs (Liverpool, Yorkshire, Northumbria and Manchester) and consists of competitions in Spot Landing, Navigation, Aerobatics and a Ground Quiz. MASUAS won all four sections. Particular congratulations go to Claire Webster who represented MASUAS in the PFL (Spot landing) category having only gone solo three weeks previously and Paul Medford who achieved an almost perfect score for the Navigation competition.
